WELCOME TO RHYTHMICALLY SPEAKING

RHYTHMICALLY SPEAKING is a music education company that provides workshops and arts projects for schools, festivals and the community.

Our work with schools is designed to support and enhance all areas of the National Curriculum from Key Stage 1 to A-Level.

Wider Opportunities

Rhythmically Speaking are working with schools and music services to help provide a wide range of high quality workshops for Wider Opportunities. The aim is to enable every child to experience learning/playing music as a class group. It gives an opportunity to start learning about instruments and hopefully to inspire some children to learn a musical instrument on an individual basis. These include World Music, Classroom Percussion, Instrumental Introduction, (which can be linked with Curriculum Topics and Composition) and Drums. Given as a menu these sessions can be provided as in-depth 5 weeks projects in one subject or as smaller taster sessions of different workshops.

World Music

Rhythmically Speaking's rhythm-based music education project focuses on Samba and Latin American music. Whilst primarily designed to fulfil the requirements of the National Curriculum at Key Stage 1 and 2, each workshop can be easily adapted for any age.

Specialist Music & PPA Cover

Rhythmically Speaking can provide teaching by the month/term/as an annual contract or as part of a personalised package of one or more sessions.
